He is the most famous right-wing radio talk-show host ever, called “The Devil” by the liberals he attacks and “The Legend” by his devoted following of aging white conservative males. In the year 1987, Ronald Reagan’s Federal Communication Commission repealed a long-standing rule known as the Fairness Doctrine which required both television and radio stations to air an equal amount of time each side to a political argument.  The repeal of the Fairness Doctrine ultimately paved the way for Rush Limbaugh (from 1988-present) to record the most career asinine statements in United States History.  The liberal media has officially confirmed the more than 100,000 times Rush Limbaugh put his “silver foot in his mouth” with misogynistic, racist, and homophobic comments. Here’s a sample of his work:

What does it say about the college co-ed Sandra Fluke, who goes before a congressional committee and essentially says that she must be paid to have sex, what does that make her? It makes her a slut, right? It makes her a prostitute.  She wants to be paid to have sex. She’s having so much sex she can’t afford the contraception. She wants you and me and the taxpayers to pay her to have sex. What does that make us? We’re the pimps!

Rush Limbaugh’s simple minded and repulsive “manifesto of misogyny” against Sandra Fluke in 2012 precipitated a huge backlash in blogs and social media.  The StopRush movement consists of volunteers working in a divestment effort aimed at convincing sponsors to pull their ads from his program.  Since the beginning of this movement, Rush Limbaugh has been losing stations and plunging in the ratings.

Indeed, Rush Limbaugh’s former sponsors urge the “American Viper” to stay away from them:

American Viper, stay away from me. American Viper, will you let me be?

You’re the laughing stock of the nation – Get off of my radio station

I got better things to do – Then spend my time listening to you

Rush Limbaugh, stay away. Rush Limbaugh, listen what I say

American Viper, stay away from me. American Viper, will you let me be?

I don’t need your diatribes. I don’t need your Right-Wing lies.

I don’t need your racist screeds. I don’t need your misogyny.

Please stop hanging ‘round my door. I don’t want to hear your voice no more.

I don’t need war mongering. Nor your Right-Wing Cheerleading.

Rush Limbaugh, stay away. Rush Limbaugh, listen what I say.

American Viper, stay away from me. American Viper, will you let me be?

I’m gonna leave you, Limbaugh –  Bye-bye!

Rush is no good for me, this is very true. I look Rush Limbaugh in the eye an’ tell him what I’m gonna do.

I’m gonna leave you, Limbaugh
