According to “The Hiill”, the alt right online newsletter “Breitbart News” plans to sue a “major media company” over its claims that the white supremacist news site is a “white supremacist news site.”

“Breitbart News Network, a pro-America, conservative website, is preparing a multi-million dollar lawsuit against a major media company for its baseless and defamatory claim that Breitbart News is a ‘white nationalist website,’” the statement reads.

“Breitbart News cannot allow such vicious racial lies to go unchallenged, especially by cynical, politically-motivated competitors seeking to diminish its 42 million monthly readers and its number one in the world political Facebook page. Breitbart News rejects racism in all its varied and ugly forms. Always has, always will,” the statement continues.

“The diversity of the company’s news coverage and its staff continue to embody Andrew Breitbart’s colorblind, distinctly American commitment to ‘E pluribus unum’—out of many, one.”

(We pause for a moment to clean our desktop from the coffee the editor just sprayed out of his nose.)

From what we can see here at Breitbart Unmasked, this comes down to a process of deciding what words mean. White Nationalists, like Steve Bannon (former Breitbart top White Supremacist, recently named to be President-elect Donald Trump’s chief strategist) tend to use words that mean one thing to normal people, while being understood by their fellow White Nationalists as calls to White Nationalism.

“Look, are there some people that are white nationalists that are attracted to some of the philosophies of the alt-right? Maybe,” he said. “Are there some people that are anti-Semitic that are attracted? Maybe. Right? Maybe some people are attracted to the alt-right that are homophobes, right? But that’s just like, there are certain elements of the progressive left and the hard left that attract certain elements.” (Mother Jones, August 2016)

CBS NEWS outlines some of the more egregious cases of White Supremacist thinking at Breitbart.

“He said he doesn’t like Jews and that he doesn’t like they raise their kids to be ‘whiny brats’ and that he didn’t want the girls going to school with Jews,” she said in the court declaration. “The biggest problem he had with Archer (School for Girls) is the number of Jews who attend,” she added.

Before those remarks came to light, however, Bannon’s opponents were already concerned about the way he ran Breitbart News, a right-wing media outlet that’s been accused of being an anti-Semitic, white nationalist, and racist. This, they say, should be reason enough to prevent Bannon from playing a large role in the White House.

Headlines that ran on Breitbart while Bannon was running the site include “Bill Kristol: Republican spoiler, renegade Jew;” “Birth control makes women unattractive and crazy;” and “The solution to online ‘harassment’ is simple: Women should log off;” and “Would you rather your child had feminism or cancer?”

For its part, the butthurt at Breitbart is palpable.

See? "Populist". And racism is quite "popular" these days.
See? “Populist”. And racism is quite “popular” these days.

SEE? He’s a POPULIST Nationalist, not a WHITE Nationalist.

If he were not a White Supremacist or Nationalist, that depiction of him would be shouted down by the numerous Neo-Nazi sites on the web. Right?

For its part, the front page of Breitbart News is devoted to defending Bannon’s hatred for anyone who doesn’t fit his narrow definition of a “real American.”

Worry not, White Supremacists. There is still plenty of room for news stories that throw shade at women, blacks, Jews or other members of the “Untermensch” that Bannon and Trump will get around to persecuting. These stories, suitable for local newspapers, seem to find their way to Breitbart’s front page if they involve “Untermensch.”

Our website has been sorting through and identifying the festering sores on the backside of racist journalism for years, even before founder Andrew Breitbart drew his final, wheezing breath. Any information we possess that will help this unnamed “major media company” defend their right to speak the truth about this nest of White Supremacist vipers will be made available to them at their request.

  1. I love the fact that Bannon/Breitbart wants to sue over code words and the dog whistles they perfected. Will be fun to see the outcome of that, especially since that site has been a focus of this site since 2012.
