The deranged, demented troll occupying the Oval Office either is unaware that his remarks are recorded and documented, or he doesn’t care.
Today, four separate times, he told reporters, “I don’t know Matt Whitaker,” the partisan nobody Trump elevated to the role of acting Attorney General after canning Jeff Sessions on Wednesday.
It would seem Trump has forgotten the interview he did with Fox and Friends on October 11 when he told his dead-eyed flacks that not only DID he know Whitaker, but that he is a great guy.
“As Sessions’s chief of staff, Whitaker met with the president in the Oval Office more than a dozen times, normally accompanying the attorney general, according to a senior administration official,” the Washington Post reported yesterday. “When Trump complained about the Mueller investigation, Whitaker often smiled knowingly and nodded in assent, the official said.” Last month, Trump told Fox News, “I know Matt Whitaker.”
Another provable lie from the proven liar. But does it matter?
Of course not.
His supporters EXPECT him to lie. They WANT him to lie!
After all, isn’t “owning the libs” the only thing that matters? Why worry about whether or not the most powerful man in the world is a deranged liar, detached from reality, as long as he’s insulting the African-American women who deign to question him?
