Nakoula BASSELEY Nakoula, the director of the film that caused an uproar in Libya which costs the lives of several Embassy personnel is a convicted credit card fraud artist who defrauded several banks in California and is currently on Federal parole for 5 years for bank fraud and access device fraud. He was also ordered to pay 794,000.00 dollars in restitution to the victims in his federal criminal case.
